LINTHICUM, Md. — Care Pharmacies has promoted Mark Ey to vice president of pharmacy operations. He will lead all chain-level operational functions.

Ey will oversee the operational needs of Care, a cooperative that represents some 80 pharmacies in 14 states, including retail, specialty, hospital outpatient and FQHC clinics.

He previously held the title of director of operations and support services. A University of Maryland School of Pharmacy graduate, he also currently serves on several pharmacy association committees and boards.
