Flurry of merchandising exec changes at CVS

WOONSOCKET, R.I. – CVS Caremark Corp. said its vice president of consumer health care merchandising has left the company and three other merchandising executives have taken on expanded roles.

CVS on Friday confirmed the departure of Jim Trappani, its top health care merchandiser, who also headed the company's multicultural merchandising efforts.

A company spokeswoman said Grant Pill, vice president and merchandise manager for store brands and photo, has added most of Trappani's role to his list of ­responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Mike McEnany has been promoted to vice president of merchandising, consumables and multicultural. He previously served as divisional merchandising manager for consumables.

In addition, Greg Froton has been named vice president of merchandising, general merchandise and international sourcing, a promotion from his previous post of divisional merchandising manager for general merchandise and seasonal.
