TheraMax nasal spray expands retail distribution
January 18th, 2011
NEW YORK – TheraBiogen Inc. has rolled out its TheraMax homeopathic nasal spray to food and drug retailers Hannaford Supermarket and Sweetbay Supermarket.
The company announced the shipment of its TheraMax Cold & Flu Relief and TheraMax Allergy Relief products to the Delhaize USA chains on Tuesday. Hannaford stores are located in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and New York, while Sweetbay stores are in Florida.
Late last week, TheraBiogen said it completed its initial market launch of the natural nasal spray at all Rite Aid Corp. drug stores. According to the manufacturer, since the original national sales release in October, TheraMax products — through a joint promotion between Rite Aid and TheraBiogen — have sold out in most of the chain's stores, leading the retailer to place additional orders.
Both the cold/flu and allergy TheraMax products are zinc-free and come in 0.5 fl. oz./15 ml nasal spray bottles.
TheraMax Cold & Flu is designed to quickly reduce the swelling of the nasal wall to provide expedited relief of stuffiness from nasal and sinus congestion and to dramatically reduce the severity and duration of cold and flu symptoms, including runny nose, sore throat, coughing, sneezing, and chills and fever. TheraMax Allergy Relief is intended to provide speedy relief of sneezing, wheezing, runny nose, watery red eyes and other allergy symptoms, with the remedy "delivering an almost instant end to everything from nasal congestion to sinus pressure," according to the TheraMax web site.
"We are very pleased that Hannaford has chosen to add our products to their stores and add to our market distribution of TheraMax Cold & Flu Relief and TheraMax Allergy Relief," Kelly Hickel, chief executive officer of TheraBiogen, said in a statement.
