HERSHEY, Pa. —  Hershey Co. has expanded its Ice Breakers line of mints and gum with quick-dissolving Ice Breakers Cool Blasts Chews.

Describing the product as an alternative to traditional breath fresheners, Hershey said Ice Breakers Cool Blasts Chews rapidly dissolve and release “a cool blast of instant freshness.”

The chews feature cooling crystals, which provide fast-acting and long-lasting breath freshening effects, and the chews’ rapid dissolve allows people to quickly and discreetly use them before and during any social interaction, according to the company.

“Hershey is dedicated to offering our fans new and differentiated products that fit with their needs and taste preferences,” stated Bill Blubaugh, director of refreshment at Hershey. “As consumers seek out faster, more discreet ways to freshen breath, Ice Breakers Cool Blasts Chews offer a solution that provides long-lasting freshness in an instant.”

Available in an 0.8-ounce slide pack, Ice Breakers Cool Blasts Chews come in spearmint and peppermint flavors and are available at drug, grocery, mass and specialty retailers nationwide at a suggested retail price of $2.09.
