FMI, GMDC plan joint show

April 9th, 2012

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Food Marketing Institute (FMI) and Global Market Development Center (GMDC) have agreed to team up to offer a conference on health, beauty and wellness next year.

The event, scheduled for May 31 to June 4, 2013, at the JW Marriott Hill Country in San Antonio, is being geared to food retailers and wholesalers, health and beauty aids suppliers, pharmacists, dietitians, and other health-related professionals.

“Consumers embracing the journey of a healthier lifestyle are looking for assistance in pulling together all the various pieces,” says FMI vice president of health and wellness and FMI Foundation director Cathy Polley.

“Combining the resources of our two associations means we can offer food retailers and wholesalers a stronger, more integrated conference.”
