Maione sets retirement from J&J

May 24th, 2010

SKILLMAN, N.J. – Frank Maione will retire in the fall as U.S. chief customer officer at Johnson & Johnson.

A 34-year industry veteran, Maione joined J&J when it acquired Pfizer Consumer Healthcare in 2006. As chief customer officer, he has worked to integrate six consumer sales organizations into one customer-facing team.

Over the coming months he will work closely with global chief customer officer Jeff Strong, the customer development leadership team and J&J customers to ensure a seamless transition, according to the company.

Maione began his career with Warner-Lambert Co. in 1976 as a retail representative. He took on roles of increasing responsibility, working in 48 states and over 15 countries.

Following Pfizer’s acquisition of Warner-Lambert he became vice president of sales at Pfizer. Under his leadership his team became the No. 1-ranked sales organization in the industry in 2005.
