Mondelez debuts Good Thins snacks

EAST HANOVER, N.J. — Mondelez International is launching Good Thins as its first new snack brand in over a decade.

Mondelez Good Thins snacksIn announcing the crispy snacks this week, Mondelez said the product was developed in response to consumer demand for wholesome savory snack options.

Good Thins are made from such ingredients as wheat, potato and rice, combined with such flavors as garlic, spinach and sweet potato. The thins are baked until crispy without using any artificial flavors or colors, partially hydrogenated oils or high-fructose corn syrup, according to Mondelez.

Good Thins will be available in three potato versions (Original, Spinach & Garlic and Sweet Potato flavors), one chickpea version (Garlic & Herb), and four rice versions (Veggie Blend, Simply Salt, Poppy & Sesame Seed and Sea Salt & Pepper).

“At Mondelez International, what’s important to consumers is important to us,” Good Thins marketing director Danielle Brown stated. “We’re regularly taking a consumer pulse on ingredient and flavor preferences, and we’re excited to launch a brand that delivers on a broad range of these interests. Best of all, it’s a snack that you can feel good about.”

Good Thins sell for a suggested retail price of $3.69 per box.
