NACDS Foundation names research program director

ARLINGTON, Va. — Sara Roszak has been promoted to director of research programs at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Foundation.

The NACDS Foundation said Wednesday that Roszak, in her new position, will help drive the expansion of the foundation’s research portfolio. She will work with the Research Advisory Working Group to help identify research concepts and priorities plus assist with the development and management of research requests for proposals (RFPs) and grant research projects.

In her new capacity, Roszak will report to NACDS Foundation president Kathleen Jaeger. Roszak joined NACDS last November and currently works in the association’s pharmacy care and patient advocacy department.

“We’re pleased to welcome Sara into this new role with the NACDS Foundation,” Jaeger said in a statement. “Sara has demonstrated leadership in developing innovative research initiatives and securing grant funding. That experience will be invaluable as she moves over to the foundation and helps to position it as a leader in advancing patient health through medication management and collaborative care.”

On Tuesday night, the American Public Health Association awarding Roszak the Jay S. Drotman Memorial Award for her contribution to the advancement of public health. The award recognizes a health worker or student, age 30 or younger, who has demonstrated potential in the health field by challenging traditional public health or practice in a creative and positive way.
