July 27th, 2010
BELLEVUE, Wash. – Drugstore.com has expanded its roster of microsites with VitaminEmporium.com, a new online store that the company said aims to offer "the best selection of vitamins and supplements to health-conscious Americans."
The online health and beauty retailer said this week that VitaminEmporium.com offers savings of up to 70%, backed by a low price guarantee, and provides access to nutritionists and advisers, extensive product information and thousands of customer product reviews.
"We know that customers are increasingly interested in healthier living and they want great prices," commented Julie Johnston, vice president of merchandising at drugstore.com. "To fill this need, we've launched VitaminEmporium.com, offering a wide selection of high-quality vitamins and essential supplements from leading brands to the specialty and natural products that are more difficult to find at neighborhood stores, all with low prices."
The company said VitaminEmporium.com serves up a broad selection of vitamins, minerals, supplements, herbs, homeopathic, diet and fitness products, including extensive category offerings in fish oil, vitamin D, probiotics, nutrition bars and snacks, and healthy food alternatives such as gluten-free and organic Agave sweetener.
Drugstore.com's family of online stores includes Beauty.com, SkinStore.com, VisionDirect.com, AtHisBest.com, TheNaturalStore.com, AllergySuperStore.com and SexualWellBeing.com.
