Kerr Health boosts business intelligence capabilities

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Kerr Drug Inc. subsidiary Kerr Health is moving to a single platform for data analytics across multiple locations and lines of business.
Health care technology provider BioMed Intelligence Inc. (BMI) said Tuesday that Kerr Health plans to implement BMI's Data Warehouse Solution to integrate its specialty pharmacy and long-term care data.
The contract marks an extension of BMI's Specialty Pharmacy Data Warehouse Solution and Reporting Suite with Kerr Health to support the pharmacy and health provider's business intelligence needs across its business portfolio.
"BMI has been a valuable partner to Kerr Health. Their innovative reporting suite and advanced industry knowledge positions them well to partner with us on our data integration initiatives," Mike Brown, president of Kerr Health, said in a statement.
Raleigh, N.C.-based Kerr Health's three primary businesses are specialty pharmacy, long-term care pharmacy services and care management. Its provides products and services to medical practices, patients, employer groups, long-term care facilities and municipalities.
