Pharmaca readies debut of 25th store
May 6th, 2014
BOULDER, Colo. – Later this month, Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy plans to open the doors to its 25th store, located in Greenwood Village, Colo.
The drug chain said Tuesday that the Greenwood Village store's Grand Opening will be held on the weekend of May 17 and 18. Attendees will be able to partake in such services as chair massages, mini-facials and mini-makeovers.
Besides marking Pharmaca's 25th location, the Greenwood Village store is the chain's fourth store in Colorado. The retailer's other stores are in California, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington.
Like most Pharmaca stores, the Greenwood Village outlet will offer traditional pharmacy services as well as natural vitamins and supplements, herbal remedies and homeopathic medicines. In addition to pharmacists, Pharmaca staffs its stores with naturopaths, homeopaths, herbalists, nutritionists and estheticians, who are available to offer guidance on the most appropriate products and treatments for customers' individual needs.
"Expanding our presence in Denver at Greenwood Village is especially meaningful to the Pharmaca team, as Colorado is where we call home," Laura Coblentz, vice president of marketing and innovation at Pharmaca, said in a statement. "We're looking forward to further serving the Denver area with our expert staff and our unique offering of products and services."
The first 100 people through the doors at the May 17 grand opening event will receive a goodie bag filled with health and beauty products. And during the weekend, anyone who makes a purchase of $5 or more will get a complimentary Pharmaca reusable shopping bag. Customers who sign up for Pharmaca's Feel Better Rewards program can buy a Pharmaca 12-ounce body lotion for a penny. In addition, 5% of that Saturday's total retail sales will be donated to TLC Meals on Wheels, which delivers nutritious meals to senior citizens.
