Bruise Relief gel now on shelves at Walgreens

January 21st, 2010

MANDEVILLE, La. – Dr. Holmquist Healthcare's Bruise Relief Gel is now available at Walgreens drug stores across the country as well as online at Walgreens.com.

A natural formula, Bruise Relief is designed to virtually eliminate bruising and related skin discoloration, according to Dr. Holmquist Healthcare. The product is being offered at Walgreens starting at $11.99.

"Walgreens distribution and support is a very big deal for Bruise Relief. They are the largest retail drug chain in the country selling to our sweet spot audiences of seniors, moms-on-the-go and the beauty conscious," Barbara Cranner, executive vice president of Dr. Holmquist Healthcare, said in a statement. "The best thing about this is our customers, thousands of people who have contacted us wanting to put an end to bruising, can now find Bruise Relief Gel at their neighborhood Walgreens store."

Bruise Relief Gel and Bruise Relief Ultra Serum are super-hydrating formulas that contain vitamins, nutrients and anti-oxidants, including glycerin, vitamin E oil and evening primrose oil, according to the company, which added that the products are nontoxic, safe for all ages and skin types, and Arnica-free for people taking blood thinners.

In addition, Bruise Relief Gel and Bruise Relief Ultra Serum improve the appearance of under-eye circles and discoloration by super-hydrating the skin and treating the underlying vascular dilation, Dr. Holmquist Healthcare said. The product, too, has been shown to reduce or eliminate bruising caused by cosmetic procedures, such as injections, the company added.
