Anda makes organizational changes

WESTON, Fla. – Generic pharmaceuticals distributor Anda Inc. has announced some executive moves in its purchasing and sales and marketing departments.
The company said Marc Falkin has been appointed vice president of purchasing. He previously served as vice president of marketing and has been with Anda since 2001.
In addition, Dan Dorsey has assumed the role of vice president of trade relations, reporting directly to Falkin. Dorsey will oversee Anda's trade relations team and focus on creating and managing product formularies, reviewing market intelligence and developing new business opportunies, according to the company.
Reporting to Dorsey will be Michael Porter, who has been promoted to manager of purchasing, and Michael Sullivan, director of consumer products (non-Rx).
On the sales side, Bill Versosky has been named vice president of sales and marketing. Anda said Versosky had been serving as vice president of national accounts, but in recent years he has been instrumental in devising the company's go-to-market strategies and program development, warranting a broader role. He also has been a leader in promoting Anda's CSOS Enterprise software and expanding Anda's customer base, including specialty product distribution points, the company noted.
The marketing team will now report to Versosky, and the national accounts team will continue to report to him, according to Anda.
The company also said that Kim Bloom has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president of contracts and product management. Bloom started at Anda in 2007 as executive director of sales operations and has been responsible for the inside sales operations team.
In her new role, Bloom will act as the conduit between several departments and provide business strategy and leadership, Anda said. She now reports to Al Paonessa, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Anda.
