Dream Water sleep aid hits shelves at Walgreens
October 27th, 2010
NEW YORK – Dream Products LLC has landed distribution for its Dream Water sleep aid at all Walgreens drug stores.
The company said Tuesday that Walgreens is now carrying the 2.5-ounce Dream Water shot in its more than 7,000 stores nationwide.
This agreement expands Dream Water's availability to about 10,000 stores across the country less than a year after the product's launch in the New York market at Duane Reade, which in April became part of Walgreens. The supplier said that with its bigger retail presence, Dream Water is now available to the nation's 70 million sleep-challenged people.
"Just 10 months into our launch, Dream Water is resonating with both consumers and retailers alike. This positive response shows the relevance of our product in the marketplace, as Dream Water helps to fill a significant void in the lives of millions of Americans who suffer from sleep issues," commented Adam Platzner, chief marketing officer for Dream Products. "It's rare to turn regional distribution into national distribution so swiftly. The fact that Dream Water has done it so successfully speaks to the considerable demand for our product. It is with great pride and excitement that we are able to work with such well-respected retailers like Walgreens to offer Dream Water to people all across the country."
The company said Dream Water is the first water that helps consumers relax and fall asleep. The proprietary formula includes a blend of natural ingredients: GABA (to help relax), Melatonin (to help induce sleep) and 5-htp Tryptophan (to help improve the quality of sleep). The Dream Water shot, recommended to be taken before bedtime and for long flights, contains zero calories and has no preservatives.
In addition to Walgreens and Duane Reade, Dream Water is available in select Walmart stores and Kmart and Harmon stores, as well as at GNC outlets.
