Schick Quattro for Women sponsors Katy Perry tour

SHELTON, Conn. – Schick Quattro for Women has become an official partner of the Katy Perry California Dreams 2011 North American summer tour.
The Energizer Personal Care women's shaving brand said Thursday that the partnership with the pop music star is part of the Schick Quattro for Women "Dare To Be Spontaneous" promotion, which is slated to run through the summer.
According to the company, the theme of spontaneity is woven throughout all elements of the campaign, tying to the brand's promise that Schick Quattro for Women razors "provide a shave so smooth, you could skip a shave or two."
"Schick Quattro for Women is thrilled to be working with Katy. She embodies the brand's spontaneous spirit, which allows women to be ready for everything," commented brand manager Christine Galotti.
"I am thrilled to welcome Schick Quattro for Women as a partner on my North American tour," Perry said in a statement.
The Dare To Be Spontaneous promotion begins on Valentine's Day. Fans can log on to the Schick Quattro for Women Facebook page to visit the "Katy Perry" tab, where they can send their loved ones and friends Katy Perry-themed Valentine's Day e-cards. The e-cards will feature four unique messages reminiscent of Katy's most popular hit songs.
Consumers can also log on to Twitter to follow Schick® Quattro for Women® at @SchickQuattroforWomen and Katy Perry at @katyperry. Schick said fans are being encouraged to check Facebook often to receive updates on Dare To Be Spontaneous promotions, Katy Perry and chances to win lots of prizes.
