NEW YORK – Laurus Enterprises LLC's Zippity Doo's lice-preventive hair care products for children are now available in Canada at Shoppers Drug Mart.
Laurus said Thursday that Zippity Doo's hair items will be on shelves in Shoppers Drug Mart stores across Canada. The chain operates about 1,300 stores nationwide, including 1,180 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix drug stores.
"Our expansion into Canada through Shoppers Drug Mart stores across the country is an important step in establishing Zippity Doo's as the leader in lice prevention hair care products," commented Linda Surkis of Laurus Enterprises. "Lice know no geographical boundaries, and we know that parents in Canada need to feel confident their children will be free of head lice."
Zippity Doo's is designed to provide families with affordable daily use lice prevention, eliminating harsh and costly treatments as well as the hassle associated with head lice infestation. Featuring natural ingredients, the line is pediatrician-approved, laboratory-tested, paraben-free and sodium laureth sulfate-free.
Products in the line, mild enough for daily use by children and adults, include Zippity Doo's Shampoo, Zippity Doo's Conditioner, Zippity Doo's Styling Gel, Zippity Doo's Leave-In Detangler and Zippity Doo's Shield Spray. The suggested retail price is $9.99.
Laurus added that Zippity Doo's has greatly increased its distribution outlets in the United States over the past few months through popular web sites such as Amazon.com, Target.com, Walgreens.com, CVS.com, Meijer.com and Soap.com, as well as a number of retail outlets, such as Value Drugs, Dahl's Foods and other drug, grocery, mass merchandise and beauty stores.
