American Greetings unveils baby-themed cards

July 5th, 2011

CLEVELAND – American Greetings Corp. has introduced Going Ga-Ga, a new birthday card collection featuring amusing images and sounds of babies.

The greeting card company said Tuesday that Going Ga-Ga cards show funny babies, cute babies, babies wearing crazy clothes, and babies in silly situations paired with humorous copy and grown-up personalities. Colorful word balloons also add a funny voice to the spontaneous, adorable photos.

In addition to traditional paper cards, the line includes voices, music and action through some of American Greetings most innovative technology formats, including On Tap, Dance Machine and Big Music.

"Their cute little faces paired with funny copy and really cool technology adds such a great element to a birthday celebration. You instantly smile when you see them," commented Carol Miller, executive director of new product concepts at American Greetings. "The collection also has a really fun tropical color palette that's perfect for summer birthdays— in a nutshell, these babies rock."

The company said the Going Ga-Ga card line is available now in drug, grocery and mass retail stores nationwide, among other retal outlets.
