Greenwood Group adds ActiPatch, Allay topical analgesics

July 12th, 2011

FREDERICK, Md. – BioElectronics Corp. announced that its ActiPatch and Allay topical pain relievers have been added to the retail products portfolio of brand management specialist Greenwood Group.

"With our recent major product improvements, it is time to segment and take our retail distribution to the next level," BioElectronics chief executive officer Andrew Whelan said in a statement Tuesday. "Greenwood Group gives us the management and distribution infrastructure to compete with the major OTC pharmacy companies."

Both drug-free topical analgesics, ActiPatch provides musculoskeletal pain therapy, while Allay alleviates menstrual pain.

According to BioElectronics, Greenwood Group has a strong track record of building successful brands through international and domestic selling efforts as well as developing and implementing marketing strategies.

"We are very excited about BioElectronics' drug-free pain products," stated Patrick O'Leary, president of Greenwood Group, based in upstate New York. "There has not been a distinctively new product on store analgesic shelves in decades. The pricing, safety, market demand, patents and scope of the product line provides a profound market opportunity."
