Tré Milano TopStyler hair tool makes debut
September 19th, 2011
CULVER CITY, Calif. – Tré Milano has launched the TopStyler, a hair curling and volumizing tool designed to replace curling irons and hot rollers.
Tre Milano's TopStyler hairstyling tool.
The company said TopStyler promises to revolutionize hairstyling by its ability to evenly heat and naturally set hair into shiny, bouncy and voluminous curls — unlike curling irons and hot rollers, which over time could significantly damage hair.
Created by celebrity stylist Linda Flowers in partnership with Tré Milano, the TopStyler styling system includes 100% solid ceramic styling shells (c-shells) to produce a thermally optimized chamber to reshape and naturally set curls. The c-shells are clamped around a wrapped section of hair that's heated and cooled in place, preserving the curl.
With the use of the product, hair retains "style memory," which sets the curl for up to three days, according to Tré Milano. The company said studies show that curls produced by the TopStyler last three times longer than curls produced by a curling iron, without causing any damage.
Tré Milano added that the hairstyling accessory's versatility and design also allow women to be creative, giving them the opportunity to produce a variety of curl shapes, sizes, textures and styles.
"With the TopStyler's unique attributes, women have the ability to change their hairstyle every day without needing to purchase multiple appliances," a spokeswoman for the company stated. "The TopStyler offers women a nondamaging, versatile hairstyling solution unlike anything on the market today."
Tré Milano is the creator of the popular InStyler rotating hair iron, which is available at such mass retailers as Walmart, Walgreens, Target, Ulta, Sears, Macy's and Bed Bath & Beyond. The company said the TopStyler, which comes in a zippered case containing five large c-shells and five regular c-shells, will be available at Target, Ulta and Macy's.
