Fixodent 'challenges' denture wearers

November 21st, 2011

CINCINNATI – Fixodent Original is putting consumers to the test with the Fixodent 12 Hour Hold Challenge.

The Procter & Gamble denture adhesive brand said that through June 30, 2012, it is encouraging consumers to submit written testimonials sharing their own personal denture challenges. By registering at dentureliving.com and entering their Fixodent challenge statement, participants can win free product samples and are entered for a chance to win one monthly $500 giveaway or the grand prize of $5,000.

According to P&G, a Fixodent survey revealed that about 20 million women age 40 and older wear dentures, and more than 3 million of them are living in fear of something as simple as eating out with friends.

"Our primary goal, as the No. 1 dentist-recommended brand, has always been to ensure our customers can live with confidence," commented Fixodent brand manager Lloyd Lorenzsonn. "We have always prided ourselves on the Fixodent 12-hour hold money-back guarantee, which gives denture wearers more confidence to go about their day with normal activities like eating and smiling."

At dentureliving.com, visitors can find expert articles on what to expect with new dentures, consumer testimonials about living with dentures, advice on denture care, and resources to for additional information. Also, the dentureliving.com discussion board provides a venue to connect, share and learn from others considering or living with dentures.
