NEW YORK – A multipronged marketing effort between Shape and Men's Fitness magazines and Wrigley's Extra gum brand will feature in-store promotions at leading chain drug retailers.
The two American Media Inc. publications and Extra this week announced the 120-Day Get Fit Giveaway, an online promotion aimed at helping consumers get their New Year's resolutions off on the right foot.
Running until March 29, the promotion on ExtraGum.com features fitness-focused daily and grand prize giveaways, with daily prizes ranging from coupons for a free pack of Extra gum to tech toys like the Xbox 360 and Microsoft Kinect, exercise equipment such as Bosu Balls, and deluxe Shape and Men's Fitness workout tote bags packed with gear. Two winners will be chosen to receive the grand prize, a fitness adventure trip to Red Mountain Resort in Utah.
Major promotional elements of the sweepstakes will be featured in-book as well as on the respective brand websites, Shape.com and Mensfitness.com.
