Greenstone introduces generic Singulair

PEAPACK, N.J. – Greenstone LLC has added montelukast sodium tablets and chewable tablets to its roster of generic pharmaceuticals.

The Pfizer Inc. subsidiary said the tablets come in dosage strengths of 10 mg, and the chewables are available in dosage strengths of 4 mg and 5 mg.

Greenstone said its montelukast product is the generic equivalent to Merck's Singulair tablets.

Montelukast tablets are indicated for treating the symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis.
