Vichy LiftActiv Serum 10 earns kudos

September 19th, 2012

NEW YORK – Vichy Laboratoires' LiftActiv Serum 10 has earned the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval and been named a "Beauty Breakthrough" by Allure magazine.

The company said Tuesday that Vichy LiftActiv Serum 10 earned the Good Housekeeping Seal after a comprehensive evaluation by the scientists and experts at the Good Housekeeping Research Institute. The skin care product was found to deliver on all claims appearing in the advertising, packaging and other informational materials.

"Vichy Laboratoires is so excited to bring this serum to the U.S. market this month, and now, with the high-caliber Allure and Good Housekeeping seals of approval, we know consumers will trust the efficacy of the ingredients. The testing is so rigorous and only select products earn these recognitions annually, so we are extremely proud to offer a truly innovative product that delivers on its promises," stated Vichy vice president of marketing Marianna Trofimova.

According to Vichy, LiftActiv Serum 10 is the first serum formulated with a 10% concentration of rhamnose, a naturally derived plant sugar proven to stimulate rejuvenation of all skin surface layers. The company said one drop delivers an instant smoothing effect that leaves the skin firmer, tighter and soft, and after one month the skin is visibly transformed, with a clinically proven reduction on the appearance of the four main types of facial wrinkles: eye contours, crow's feet, forehead wrinkles and laugh lines.

After review by Allure magazine's expert panel, Vichy LiftActiv Serum 10 was one of only 18 beauty care products to receive the Beauty Breakthroughs award. Vichy said Allure praised LiftActiv Serum 10 for its ingredient innovation and clinical effectiveness. "Researchers at Vichy discovered a potent sugar molecule that gives tired, mature calls the jump-start they need to start rebuilding collagen and reducing wrinkles," the magazine wrote.

Vichy LiftActiv Serum 10, which carries a suggested retail price of $52, is available at select CVS/Pharmacy, Duane Reade and Walgreens drug stores and Ulta beauty stores.
