E.l.f. cosmetics rolls out Disney 'Villain Collection'

September 24th, 2012

NEW YORK – E.l.f. Cosmetics has introduced The Villain Collection, three limited-edition beauty books containing a selection of makeup devoted to Disney's "most love-to-hate" villainous leading ladies.

The company said the collectible, how-to beauty books feature the "wickedly beautiful" looks of Cruella Deville, Maleficent and the Evil Queen.

Designed to offer an assortment of day-to-night looks, each palette contains eight eye shadow colors, two lip and cheek pencils, one eye shadow primer, one liquid eyeliner, one set of false lashes, one adhesive glue and one magical mirror.

According to e.l.f., the eye-catching palettes are small enough to carry for everyday use and on the go touch-ups.

Day/night eye shadow shades include Puppy Love, Spotted, Coat of Dreams, Maniac, Cruelty, Little Beasts, Sewage and Extinction in the "Cruella: Evil Everyday Eyes" book; Spindle, Misfortune, Sceptre, Forest of Thorns, Fog of Doom, Deep Sleep, Fauna and Diablo in the "Maleficent: Sinister Smoky Eyes" book; and One Bite, Fairest of Land, Vanity, Majesty, Narcissistic, Peddler's Deck, Potion and Poison Apple in the "Evil Queen: Devious Dramatic Eyes" book.

The Villain Collection is available exclusively at select Walgreens drug stores nationwide for $9.99 through the end of December.

"I've always had a secret soft spot for Disney villians," commented Achelle Dunaway, creative director for e.l.f. Cosmetics. "That is why I am so thrilled to introduce this new enchanting collection to our customers. Now everyone can have their chance to channel their inner villainous diva."
