Innovation hires pharmacy sales veteran

February 7th, 2013

JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. – Stephen Donohue has joined Innovation as divisional vice president of sales, chain and high volume.

The pharmacy automation provider said Thursday that Donohue will lead Innovation's sales and marketing activity for the retail chain pharmacy and high-volume pharmacy (mail order and central fill) markets.

Innovation noted that Donohue brings more than 30 years of sales and senior sales management experience in a range of pharmacy markets.

Most recently, he was a regional sales manager at Health Business Systems (HBS) Inc., a provider of pharmacy management, workflow management, inventory management and integrated voice response (IVR) systems to the retail, institutional/nursing home, and mail-order pharmacy markets. Before HBS, he held senior sales management posts with ScriptPro and BSI Business Systems.

"Steve brings a wealth of industry experience, leadership skills and sales savvy to the Innovation team," commented Doyle Jensen, executive vice president of global business development at Innovation. "He has a proven track record of success at every level of his career. We're thrilled that he has joined Innovation and will lead this vital sales role."
