Rescue Remedy adds Pearls for stress relief

March 11th, 2013

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Over-the-counter stress reliever brand Rescue Remedy has introduced Rescue Pearls.

Nelsons, a subsidiary of A. Nelsons & Co. Ltd., a London-based maker of natural health care and homeopathy products, said that Rescue Pearls are dissolvable gel capsules that provide fast-acting relief from daily stress.

Each Pearl quickly releases one dose of Rescue Remedy, the brand's original natural stress reliever developed by a doctor more than 75 years ago.

A homeopathic solution, Rescue Remedy is designed to help relieve stress and help people stay calm and in control by providing gentle, non-habit-forming relief from everyday stressful situations such as traffic, a job interview, a first date, work, toddler tantrums, lost luggage, a flat tire and getting the kids ready for school, according to the company.

"Consumers, both loyal Rescue users and those new to the brand, immediately responded to the convenience of Rescue Gum and Pastilles, and they quickly became our most popular items. Building on that feedback, we conducted consumer research to gain a better understanding of how consumers want to take Rescue and Pearls was the clear winner," stated Katrina Eichenfeldt, senior brand manager for Rescue Remedy.

Rescue Pearls retail at $9.95 for 28 capsules and are available along with the brand's Black Currant Pastilles, Gum and Sleep Liquid Melts in the sleep and stress aid section at CVS/pharmacy and in natural food stores such as Whole Foods Market and Sprouts.
