Empowered Products launches ad campaign

LAS VEGAS – Empowered Products Inc. has kicked off what the company calls its largest marketing and advertising campaign to date for its PINK and Gun Oil personal lubricant brands.

Launched this week, the campaign is designed to support the more than 21,000 U.S. retail locations, including leading drug chains, that carry PINK and Gun Oil sexual wellness products.

The effort started Sept. 29 with publication of $2 manufacturer's coupons in SmartSource free-standing insert circulars in the Sunday and weekly neighborhood editions of newspapers serving Seattle, the San Francisco Bay area, San Diego, Nevada, Chicago, South Florida, Boston, and Providence (R.I.). The circulation of the SmartSource FSI ad campaign is more than 10 million homes.

Empowered Products said the objective of the campaign is to encourage consumers to visit their local Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Rite Aid, Kroger, Fred Meyer or H-E-B store to redeem the coupons for PINK and Gun Oil products for $2 off any 1.7-ounce and 3.3-ounce bottles of PINK Silicone and PINK Water, and $2 off any 2-ounce and 4-ounce bottles of Gun Oil Silicone and Gun Oil H2O.

The company noted that the broad reach of the campaign reflects its expansion into the nation's largest food and drug retail chains.

"We are excited to support the availability of our PINK and Gun Oil products in many of the most respected mainstream retailers in America," stated Scott Fraser, president and chief executive officer of Empowered Products. "Consumers have clearly stated they want to buy high-quality sexual wellness products where they do their everyday shopping, and we're happy to help them save a little money on our products when they make that purchase."

For consumers outside the SmartSource circulation area for the ad campaign, Empowered Products will offer coupons for the same discounts online at EmpoweredProducts.com, PinkForUs.com and GunOil.com, as well as via facebook.com/EmpoweredProducts, facebook.com/PinkForUs and facebook.com/GunOilProducts.
