Align launches "Gutsy" online challenge

December 12th, 2013

CINCINNATI – Procter & Gamble's Align probiotic brand has kicked off its "Get Gutsy" challenge, aimed at helping give people the confidence to experience one of those "gutsy moments."

P&G said Wednesday that Align also is teaming up with actress, comedienne and Emmy award-winning co-host of "The View," Sherri Shepherd, to help set an example and encourage people everywhere to live gutsier.

As a live entertainer, Shepherd knows about conquering nerves and facing fears. "I love to live gutsy. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you challenge yourself or work outside your comfort zones," Shepherd said in a statement. "I am excited to partner with Align and encourage people everywhere to maintain their digestive balance."

People can go online to GetGutsyAlign.com through Jan. 2 to submit an entry describing the adventure they want to experience. Two winners will be announced in March and be awarded $5,000 to put toward accomplishing their goal.

Align contains a patented probiotic bacteria and is a daily dietary supplement that comes in an easy-to-swallow capsule. With just one capsule a day, every day, Align fortifies the digestive system with healthy bacteria 24/7 and can help promote overall digestive health, according to P&G, which noted that Align is the only probiotic supplement that contains bifantis and that the product is the No. 1 gastroenterologist-recommended probiotic.
