Walgreens, P&G partner on People's Choice Awards promo

DEERFIELD, Ill. – Walgreen Co. and Procter & Gamble Co. are teaming up on a social media promotion leading into this week's 2014 People's Choice Awards.
The drug chain said that at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, one hour before the awards show, Walgreens and P&G will host a Twitter Party featuring new ways to "get fabulous" using #OnMyWay2Fab Giveaway.
Participants will have the opportunity to win a "fab bag" that includes $250 of beauty and wellness products and will be featured during the People's Choice Awards.
The products include CoverGirl Bombshell Lip Perfection Lipstick, which is enriched with a silk moisturizing complex to help sustain moisture levels and create soft, smooth lips in just seven days; the Studio 35 Blender Brush, which has a foam tip with a micro-pore formulation that won't absorb too much liquid makeup, while the infused vitamin E provides a smooth surface for application; and Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash, which is formulated to go beyond clean to improve the condition of skin over time.

Now in its 40th year, the People's Choice Awards is the only major awards show voted on entirely by the public for fan favorites in music, movies and television.
