TheraPearl's new Ankle/Wrist Wrap set to hit stores

January 23rd, 2014

COLUMBIA, Md. – TheraPearl has expanded its hot/cold therapy lineup with the Ankle/Wrist Wrap with Adjustable Strap.

Slated to be rolled out to stores in March, the multi-purpose wrap is designed to provide pain relief for sprains, swelling, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis and other conditions.

TheraPearl's Pearl Technology employs soft gel beads that conform to the body and can be heated or frozen — for example, chilled in the freezer or heated in the microwave — to provide fast pain relief. The doctor-designed pack provides a drug-free solution for reducing pain and inflammation.

The Ankle/Wrist Wrap, as with all TheraPearl products, is directed to be applied to the injured area for about 20 minutes and then taken off for about 20 minutes, repeated as needed.

TheraPearl noted that the new wrap's adjustable strap enables a customized fit and keeps the pack comfortably in place. The company said athletes, golfers, tennis players, gamers, computer-users and others can benefit from the targeted relief of the Ankle/Wrist Wrap.

"Everyday, 25,000 people in the U.S. sprain their ankle, making it one of the most common type of sports injuries. We knew the Ankle/Wrist Wrap with Adjustable Strap would be a great addition to our product line," stated Daniel Baumwald, president of TheraPearl.

The Ankle/Wrist Wrap with Adjustable Strap carries a suggested retail price of $11.99 to $13.99 and is available now at

In other news, TheraPearl said Wednesday that it has been named to Forbes magazine's list of "America's Most Promising Companies," appearing in the business journal's Jan. 22 issue. TheraPearl came in at No. 41 on the list of 100 companies. The feature is Forbes' third annual ranking of high-growth, privately held companies with less than $250 million in annual revenue.
