AZO adds bladder control supplement to lineup
April 28th, 2014
CROMWELL, Conn. – AZO Products has launched AZO Bladder Control with Go-Less, a women's dietary supplement to help optimize normal bladder activity and bladder strength.
Announced this week, AZO Bladder Control is designed to provider a natural, drug-free option to help women with bladder dysfunction establish a healthy bladder routine, according to i-Health Inc., distributor of AZO.
The supplement's proprietary blend contains pumpkin seed extract, which helps maintain bladder muscle function, and soy isoflavones, which help maintain strong bladder muscles for better urinary control, the company said.
AZO Bladder Control can be found nationally at all major retailers, including Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS/pharmacy and Costco.
Research by AZO found that many women have been seeking an easy-to-take, drug-free product without side effects to address their bladder issues. According to the Agency of Healthcare Research and Quality, half of all women in the U.S. will experience some type of bladder dysfunction in their lifetimes, i-Health reported, adding that pregnancy, weight gain, menopause and aging are cited as potential reasons for occasional urinary urgency, frequency and interruptions to daily routines.
"Many women speak of being constantly confronted with their bladder issues, from getting up every hour during the night to use the bathroom, to having anxiety when leaving home because they constantly worry about finding a restroom in time," stated Nicole Bourdeau, brand manager at i-Health. "As the country's most trusted urinary health brand, we want to enable women to live more fully and are committed to providing them with a safe solution."
Other AZO urinary and vaginal health products include AZO Urinary Pain Relief, AZO Cranberry, AZO Test Strips and AZO Yeast.
