Rexam Prescription Products becomes Centor

July 9th, 2014

PERRYSBURG, Ohio – The business formerly known as Rexam Prescription Products has changed its name to Centor, a leading supplier of regulatory-compliant prescription containers for medication dispensing.

Centor said Tuesday that it will continue to operate in its current organization structure, and customer contacts will remain the same.

The company added that its business is unaffected by the transition, and customers won't notice any change in the way they do business.

Perrysburg, Ohio-based Centor provides a broad line of regulatory-compliant prescription containers for dispensing medication, including packaging for robotic automation, standard and custom imprinted closures, vials, applicators, droppers, ointment jars and oval bottle.

Its flagship products include the Screw-Loc Vial & Closure System, 1-Clic Vial & Closure System and Centor Recycled Oval Bottles.

Rexam completed the divestment of its pharmaceutical devices and prescription retail divisions to Montagu Private Equity on May 2 and of its containers and closures division to Berry Plastics on June 2. Rexam Healthcare Devices is now known as Nemera.
