August 21st, 2014

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the fifth straight year, Brownmed has made the Inc. 5000 list of business journal Inc.

The health care products manufacturer and marketer said Wednesday that it came in at No. 4,930 on the annual Inc. magazine 500|5000 list, which ranks the nation's fastest-growing private companies.

"We are honored to once again achieve this distinction," stated Ivan Brown, president and chief executive officer of Brownmed. "Our ability to sustain growth at this level is due to our singular focus on delivering products to the market that improve the lives of individuals."

The average company on this year's Inc. 5000 list achieved three-year growth of 516%. The Inc. 5000's aggregate revenue is $211 billion.

During Brownmed's five-year run on the list, on which it's a six-time honoree overall, the company has seen strong growth from such products as Seal-Tight moisture protection and IMAK compression arthritis gloves, as well as innovation from such offerings as Intellinetix, a new line of vibration therapy products.

Brownmed's products address a variety of ailments, including arthritis relief, ergonomic comfort, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, vibration therapy and moisture protection for casts, wounds and bandages.
