DEERFIELD, Ill. — Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) has launched its global partnership with Fareva for the manufacture and supply of own beauty brands and private-label products.

As part of the 10-year agreement, announced in late July, Fareva has acquired BCM, WBA’s contract manufacturing business, which operates factories in the United Kingdom, France and Germany.

WBA said when it announced the deal that the partnership will give the company a core multinational manufacturing and development resource that will help spur its global product strategy. The agreement includes products for sale in the United States.

Fareva manufactures in 11 countries, including the U.S., and has significant research and development capabilities, according to WBA.
