SALT LAKE CITY — Xlear Inc. has landed retail distribution for its xylitol-based nasal sinus care products at CVS Pharmacy and Target stores nationwide.

Xlear nasal spray_box shotXlear said Wednesday that products now available at Target include the 1.5-oz. Xlear Nasal Spray, Neti Pot Kit, Sinus Spray Kit and Solution Packets. CVS is stocking in its stores the Xlear Kids Nasal Spray.

With the addition of about 1,300 Target stores and 7,600 CVS stores, Xlear products are now carried in more than 12,000 retail stores nationwide.

“The results were astounding when my father, now a retired family physician in West Texas, developed something that could help his patients suffering from upper respiratory issues. It was at that moment I knew we needed to bring these xylitol-based products to market and make them available to everyone,” stated Xlear chief executive officer Nate Jones. “Today marks a very special day for not only my father and our family, but more importantly for consumers coast to coast who can now find that same relief at retailers nationwide.”

Xlear (pronounced “clear”) noted that its sinus care products have received praise from allergy and sinus health practitioners nationwide.

“Xlear does a great job in preventing sinus infections, and therefore helps tremendously our hay fever patients to keep their nasal passages clear,” commented Talal Nsouli, M.D., Distinguished Research Scientist, ICISI, and clinical professor of pediatrics and allergy-immunology at Georgetown University School of Medicine and medical director at Watergate & Burke Allergy & Asthma Centers. “Our clinical experience supports the excellent results of our study published in the Annals of Allergy Asthma and Immunology. The study showed that Xlear is a safe, natural and effective additional treatment in patients with nasal allergies and sinus problems.”
