BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Zicam has expanded its homeopathic product lineup with Zicam Cold Remedy Medicated Fruit Drops.

The company said Tuesday that Zicam Cold Remedy Medicated Fruit Drops help shorten the length of a cold when taken at the first sign of symptoms.

Made from a unique formula, the drops don’t just mask symptoms but reduce the duration of colds so consumers can recover faster, Zicam noted. The soft, assorted fruit drops contain pectin, a gelling agent that helps prevent the drops from melting and sticking together.

Each container holds 25 fruit drops — in a mix of orange, lemon and cherry flavors — and can be found at major retailers nationwide. Zicam added that the drops are non-drowsy and non-habit forming.
