The National Association of Chain Drug Stores this week wrapped up the 2015 NACDS Annual Meeting, which was held from April 24 to 28 in Palm Beach, Fla.

During the event, NACDS welcomed a new chairman, Hy-Vee chairman and CEO Randy Edeker, who took the reins from John Standley, chairman and CEO of Rite Aid, as he completed his one-year term.

The event program featured many other top-tier speakers, including Brian McNamara, head of Europe Americas GSK Consumer Healthcare; Bruce Josten, executive vice president of government affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; and Dr. Lawrence H. Summers, director of the White House Economic Council and former secretary of the U.S. Treasury Department, as well as NACDS president and CEO Steve Anderson.
