NAPLES, Fla. — Executives at regional drug chains took the opportunity to exchange ideas with their peers and trading partners at the 2015 National Association of Chain Drug Stores Regional Chain Conference.
Beginning Sunday, Feb. 1, and running through Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Fla., the NACDS Regional Chain Conference drew senior-level retail executives who operate up to 250 stores.
Compelling business gatherings and social activities included NACDS’ popular “Meet the Retailer” sessions — marking those meetings’ debut at the Regional Chain Conference — as well as a Super Bowl party.
Pharmacy and front-end topics explored at the conference include quality-based pharmacy payments, medication synchronization, travel health opportunities for community pharmacies, pharmaceutical trends, Drug Enforcement Administration compliance, mobile health apps, shopper trends, point-of-care testing in pharmacies, labor and employment law, federal and state government affairs issues, and opinion research findings that shape public policy communications.
