TUKWILA, Wash.– Genoa, a QoL Healthcare Company, the nation’s leading behavioral health pharmacy and largest outpatient telepsychiatry company, today announced an organizational rebrand as well as a new name, Genoa Healthcare. The comprehensive effort elevates the focus on the variety of services the organization provides for helping individuals living with behavioral health and other complex, chronic conditions. In addition to a new name, the rebrand includes a new logo, new positioning, and a revamped website.

Genoa“This is about our name reflecting the fact that we are a dynamic healthcare company offering a growing range of services including pharmacy, telepsychiatry and medication management solutions,” John Figueroa, chief executive officer, Genoa Healthcare said in a statement. “We also want to more strongly convey the passion we have for what we do, and the compassion we have for those we serve.”

Genoa’s suite of solutions designed to help shape better outcomes for individuals living with severe and persistent mental illnesses, addictions and other complex conditions includes:

• Pharmacies: As the country’s fifth largest drug chain, Genoa fills more than 14 million prescriptions for more than 630,000 consumers in nearly 400 full-service pharmacies located within community mental health centers across the U.S.

• Telepsychiatry: Using easy-to-use video conference software, Genoa’s team of more than 250 psychiatrists and nurse practitioners provide high-quality psychiatric services to mental health patients in variety of settings, including community mental health centers and primary care clinics, inpatient units and emergency departments.

• Medication Management Solutions: Genoa Medication Management Solutions’ clinical pharmacists conduct comprehensive medication management reviews, by phone, to members of health plans who have complex health issues. Most have four or more chronic illnesses, take more than 10 medications each day, and accrue, on average, $50,000 in medical care costs annually.

“We do more than just provide medicine. We change hundreds of thousands of lives for the better every day,” added Figueroa. “We want everything we do to show the dedication and compassion of our team and the quality of the care of the services we provide.”
