WASHINGTON — Today, the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA) announced the Virtual PBM Policy Forum 2021, featuring health care, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), and pharmaceutical manufacturer industry thought leaders and executives discussing how the public and private sectors are tackling drug costs and improving the affordability and quality of care for patients.

“We are pleased to announce this year’s PCMA PBM Policy Forum. The 2021 PBM Policy Forum identifies and explores key issues in the prescription drug market, including pharmacy care innovation, and the ways pharmacy benefit managers are working to reduce costs and improve clinical care for patients,” said JC Scott, PCMA President and CEO.

Two sessions are available to view now, and the remaining sessions will be released in future installments.

The PBM Policy Forum will address several topics, including:

• Achieving widespread COVID-19 vaccination,
