“Last spring, our home delivery pharmacies received accreditation from URAC, and I’m proud to announce our specialty pharmacies were just awarded full reaccreditation,” says Joel Wright, chief executive officer of AllianceRx Walgreens Prime. “Receiving reaccreditation is affirmation of our teams’ commitment to the highest standards of care for our patients.”

URAC president and chief executive officer Kylanne Green says URAC reaccreditation conveys that AllianceRx Walgreens Prime continues to adhere to industry best practices.

“It’s necessary for specialty pharmacies to provide a higher level of treatment for patients so desired outcomes are achieved,” she says. “AllianceRx Walgreens Prime shows a dedication to patient education and safety through the recognition of quality it received with URAC’s independent accreditation.”

The reaccreditation is effective until January 1, 2022.
