TORONTO – Foundation Consumer Healthcare and ANB Canada announced that beginning December 1, 2020, ANB will manage sales representation, brand development, order processing, logistics and financial reconciliation for several Foundation brands in Canada.
Formed in 2014, Foundation has rapidly built a portfolio of differentiated OTC products including the No. 1 OB-GYN recommended Plan B One-Step emergency contraception in the US, its flagship product and the No. 1 dollar-selling OTC SKU in the U.S. Additionally, Foundation markets the brands St. Joseph Aspirin, Campho Phenique Cold Sore and First Aid therapies and Bronkaid.
Formed in 1995, ANB is a leader in niche pharmacy, over-the-counter, and health and beauty sales and distribution in Canada. ANB’s services include sales and trade show representation, store sales and detailing, sales strategy, brand development, and logistics.
Foundation recently entered into a definitive agreement to acquire seven brands from GSK Consumer Healthcare that include Breathe Right Nasal Strips, the world’s No. 1 nasal strip, and Children’s Dimetapp, the No.1 pharmacist-recommended brand for children’s cough and cold products in the US, as well as Anbesol, Alavert, Dristan, Primatene Tablets and FiberCon.
ANB will initially manage the Breathe Right, Dimetapp, and Dristan products in Canada for Foundation. Both ANB and Foundation expect to grow and expand both the Foundation business and product offerings in Canada in the near future.
