The addition of Chalmers brings 25 years of senior management experience in international consumer goods and an extensive mergers-and-acquisitions track record to the board, according to Coty.

She has served as chief legal and corporate affairs officer, company secretary and a member of the Executive Board of Management at AB InBev since 2005. In the role, she led the global legal, regulatory, communications and CSR functions during the organization’s growth to one of the world’s largest consumer products companies.

Also during her tenure, Chalmers was closely involved in three of the world’s largest and most complex cross-border M&A transactions, Coty noted.

“I am delighted to welcome Sabine to the Coty board,” Coty chairman Bart Becht stated. “Her international experience as a senior leader in the global consumer goods industry will be a valuable addition to the broad range of experience already on our board.”
