SEATTLE — Steven Frestedt has been promoted to vice president of marketing at Bartell Drugs.

The Puget Sound, Wash.-area drug chain said Wednesday that Frestedt supervise marketing initiatives for the retailer’s 64 stores in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties.

Most recently, Frestedt served as marketing director for Bartell Drugs. The company noted that he has more than 20 years of experience in strategic guidance, account management and creative collaboration with advertising agencies in Seattle and Los Angeles.

“Steven brings great experience to the role and is committed to our marketing effectiveness by using an evolving mix of traditional, social and digital media. I’m confident he will help lead us in the journey ahead,” Bartell Drugs president and chief operating officer Brian Unmacht said in a statement.
