Bartell Drugs recruits top talent for key leadership roles

SEATTLE – Bartell Drugs is prepared for the future with two key positions now occupied by dynamic, experienced professionals.

Kelly Kennedy has joined Bartell’s as the chief financial officer. Kelly brings 25 years of experience working in management and finance for retail organizations such as Williams Sonoma, See’s Candies and food companies including Annie’s, Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream and Revolution Foods. Notably, Kelly was the CFO for the revolutionary drug store chain, Elephant Pharmacy.

With a strong focus on improving the company’s technology, the new role of senior vice president of IT has been filled by Kari Escobedo. Kari is a senior technology executive with more than twenty years of leadership experience serving global Fortune 500 companies in technology, healthcare, telecommunications and retail such as Starbucks, T-Mobile and Microsoft. Most recently, Kari lead the technology integration of Group Health with Kaiser Permanente, Bartell’s partner in CareClinics.
