BOCA RATON, Fla. — Better Health Beverage’s underWAY appetite-controlling beverage is now available at Bartell Drugs and USA Drug stores.
The company, which also offers the Smart for Life cookie diet products, said this week that two flavors of underWAY, which comes in 16-ounce bottles, are now on shelves at Bartell’s 57 locations in Washington’s Puget Sound area.
"We’re excited to launch underWAY in a market where Bartell Drugs remains a leader in serving the community," commented Richard Kayne, chief operating officer of Better Health Beverage. "In addition, to support our product launch with Bartell Drugs, a TV media campaign is currently running in the Seattle metropolitan area to help support the trial and traffic for Bartell Drugs."
Meanwhile, three flavors of underWAY are available at USA Drug stores under the following banners: USA Drug in Arkansas; May’s Drug Stores, Med-X Drug Stores and Drug Warehouse Stores in Oklahoma and Missouri; and Super D stores in Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee. A regional television media campaign also was kicked off this week to promote trial and traffic for the new beverage at USA Drug stores.
UnderWAY’s key ingredient, HeroFiber, developed by Dr. Sasson Moulavi, is designed to help fill the stomach and reduce hunger pains, allowing dieters to consume less, according to Better Health Beverage. The natural beverage has 10 calories (low glycemic) per serving and no hidden sugars, sodium or caffeine, the company said.
Late last month, Better Health Beverage announced that underWAY became available at Discount Drug Mart locations in Ohio. And earlier this year, the supplier said the beverage was slated to be rolled out at Kinney Drugs.
