SEATTLE — Homebound and homeless seniors are among those hit the hardest by the coronavirus pandemic. Bartell’s recently hosted a successful supply drive in partnership with Aegis Living to assist local seniors lacking essential items during this time. In four short weeks, Bartell’s collected $106,832 in donations.

“We are blown away by the generosity of our customers. In just a few short weeks, we raised over $100,000 in donations for our local seniors. As a Pacific NorthWest organization, we aim to help our Northwest neighbors however we can. I want to extend my personal thanks to those who donated.” said Ken Mahoney, senior vice president of operations at Bartell Drugs.

Donations collected at Bartell’s will benefit Sound Generations, Pike Market Senior Center and food bank as well as other local senior organizations. For information regarding the donation drive, visitbartelldrugs.com/blog/senior-supply-drive/.
