TAMPA, Fla. — Benzer Pharmacy has set foot in its 12th state with the opening of its first store in Arkansas.

Located at 300 Perry St. in Helena, Ark., the new Benzer location houses a full-service pharmacy and offers over-the-counter health products, immunizations, health consultations and personalized care. The pharmacy also provides solutions for the dispensing, delivery, dosing and reimbursement of specialty medications.

Other pharmacy services include free home delivery, free med-pack preparations, refill reminders and, the company said, a wait time of less than 10 minutes for prescriptions.

“Our mission is to reach more customers and guarantee that their experiences match their expectations,” John Cox, pharmacy operations manager at Benzer, said in a statement.

The new location continues the steady expansion of Tampa, Fla.-based Benzer. Earlier this month, the independent pharmacy chain opened its first franchised pharmacy location in Oklahoma. The Poteau, Okla., store also represented the debut of the Benzer Pharmacy brand in the state.

Altogether, Benzer now has more than 60 stores in Tennessee, Florida, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, Georgia, Nevada, Oklahoma, Iowa, Louisiana and Arkansas.
