Bud Light unlocks team and fan inspired cans ahead of 2021 NFL season

NEW YORK —This season, NFL fans are back in a big way, and so is Bud Light. As the official beer sponsor of the NFL, Bud Light is unveiling the 2021-2022 NFL team-specific cans and packaging that brings fandom to a whole new level.

This year’s designs are draped in personalized team rally cries to help bring fans together to root their favorite team on, no matter where they are. The NFL themed Bud Light packaging will be available for fans to purchase in participating cities for a limited-time only beginning August 23rd.

Across the country, Bud Light’s NFL athletes will be unlocking their own limited-edition packs for football fans to enjoy this season, including Dak Prescott, Travis Kelce, George Kittle, Mike Evans, JuJu Smith-Schuster and more.

To kick off the season and welcome all NFL fans back in a big way, Bud Light is teaming up with the reigning Super Bowl Champions – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers – to produce a larger than life “Welcome Mat” for the first NFL game of the season taking place on Thursday, September 9th. And this is not just an ordinary welcome mat – this symbolic ode to the return of NFL fandom measures over 71 yards in-length.

Bud Light is partnering with more than 20 teams across the league to welcome fan bases across the league back to stadiums in a big way! More details to follow as team kickoff games commence.
