LINTHICUM, Md. — Care Pharmacies is migrating to PDX Inc.’s Enterprise Pharmacy System (EPS) as its main pharmacy platform.

Deployment of the PDX system is slated to begin this month. According to Michael Wysong, chief executive officer of Care Pharmacies, the platform will enable Care pharmacists to provide more health care services.

“We are excited to partner with PDX. Its innovative pharmacy system provides an advanced, integrated platform needed by our pharmacies,” Wyson stated. “EPS will allow Care pharmacists to go beyond filling prescriptions and expand their role as health care providers while meeting the dynamic and challenging needs of their patients.”

A member-owned cooperative of independent community and specialty pharmacies, Care has about 85 locations in 10 states and the District of Columbia.
